Becca Tracey of The Uncaged Life makes business look ridiculously effortless. (I’m serious – it’s ALMOST annoying.) That’s what happens when you find your perfect target market coupled with a system that helps those same people get results.
But what kind of list size do you need to run a group coaching program 4-5 times a year? How do you price it? And how do you get referrals without an affiliate program?
In this episode you’ll hear:
— How much Becca’s business made in 2014, and the breakdown of her various revenue sources.
— How she gets people who are struggling to even decide what their business should be to invest $1,000 in her program.
— The details of that group program: how long it lasts, what people get, and why it’s more like one-on-one coaching than anything else.
— Her strict (or stingy?) refund policy for her products and services. You be the judge!
— Why she doesn’t offer an affiliate program for Uncage Your Business.
— What Becca feels like she’s straight-up bad at.
— Where she spends money in her business.
— How running an insanely active Facebook group has affected her bottom line (and her productivity).
— How she actually learned the stuff she teaches her clients.
— Why Becca just might be the unicorn of online business.

Loved this!! I have such a major biz crush on Becca! And thank you Claire for the awesome interview! Awesome to hear how everything goes down in Becca’s business! :)
You’re so welcome Jennifer! I completely identify with having a huge business crush on Becca – I tried to keep the fangirl-ing to a minimum. :)
Super interviews, Claire. I love hearing the straight answers on money. I just subscribed; looking forward to the rest of the series.
Awesome Fiona, thanks so much for listening! More episodes are coming soon.
HI Claire, wow another awesome interview. Thank you so much for doing this series, it provides value and answers for those of us who are more heart centered but also intend to do well in business. Please consider adding rss feed as an option to subscribe to the podcast, at least half of us in the world don’t have ipods and ipads, and we use rss feeds like Feedburner to subscribe <3
Thanks Robin, I LOVE that kind of feedback. I’m working on improving my show notes. Are you saying you’d just like to have an RSS button here like most sites have? I use Feedly to pull RSS feeds and I’m able to manually enter blogs I want to follow, but if you did that you’d get updates about all my posts, not just the podcast ones.
Let me know so I can implement this ASAP!
I am talking about the actual podcast. I am an android and a windows user – on my mobiles – and I cannot see your podcast in the microsoft podcast feed. I have to go to my desktop computer, open itunes and right click on your podcast, click “get podcast URL”, grab the podcast url (https://clairepells.com/feed/podcast/) and then send that to my phone and tablet via chat, then manually enter that into the search field on Microsoft Podcast, and THEN your podcast comes up. So, maybe – the answer is to put that link I just pasted here at the bottom of your posts for non itunes users? p.s. look at the hoops I am willing to jump to listen :) I appreciate you Claire!
I’m trying to get rid of all them hoops but I SO appreciate you jumping through them! So here’s another question: do you use an app on android for listening to podcasts? Someone suggested this one to me: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fm.player. Would that make it easier for someone like you?
The other option would be some kind of button that when you click it, it automatically copied the url for you…I’m just trying to think of what would work best for you on your phone or tablet!
I’m sure we can figure this out together. :)
Hi Claire, yes definitely do the button to automatically copy the link, it will be the easiest solution for you and for us non ios peeps. Re the Google play store, yes that’s where we’d go to download a new podcast app on an android, but the thing is, if we already are using a podcast app we like and your podcast is not showing up there it’s better for us to have your link so we can manually override, does that make sense?
