Change is a good thing, right?
Our friends at Facebook seem to think so. They love to change things up on us: Timelines, News Feeds, Insights, and now the Power Editor.
If you’ve never used the Power Editor before, you’re kind of in luck – basically you get to start from scratch. But if you’re like me and you had FINALLY gotten used to the old interface, maybe you can share in the dismay and confusion I felt the day I opened up the Power Editor to see it was all…different. Similar, yet unknown. Better? Yes, actually, it is better. But hello learning curve! Long time, no see.
So now that Facebook has finished rolling out the changes, it’s time for us to dig in and figure this puppy out!
I split this tutorial up into two videos. If you don’t love walking into the technological lion’s den all alone, check out this simple tour of the new Power Editor interface. It’ll give you an idea of where everything is, making it easier to find your way around when you’re setting up your ads (and less likely that you’ll make mistakes or get lost).
Take the tour here:
Feel like you’ve got a handle on the layout of the new Power Editor? Let’s dive into more details about how exactly to structure your campaigns and get them up and running sooner rather than later! Here we go:
Post your questions here!
I mean it when I say there are no dumb questions when it comes to the Power Editor – why should you spend tons of time struggling with it when you can get some help right here? Let me know your thoughts/fears/roadblocks in the comments below and we’ll figure this stuff out together. :)
